1¾ c. granulated Sugar
6 tbsp. Flour
2 c. Whole Milk
2 c. Butter, room temperature
2 teas. Vanilla (or can substitute 1 teas. Vanilla and 1 teas. Almond)

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk flour and sugar over medium heat for 2 minutes to toast the flour. This is really important...it adds to the flavor.
Slowly add milk, whisking continuously until pudding-like.
Cover with plastic wrap and let cool.
Beat butter until light and fluffy.
Slowly add flour mixture to butter and add flavoring.
