1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 Tbsp. chicken bouillon
8 to 10 oz. broccoli
Pepper and onion salt
Cheese, freshly grated cheddar or American to taste.
2 tsp. flour (about)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in butter until soft. Add rest of ingredients except flour and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer (not boil) until vegetables are soft. Thicken with flour. Stir in cheese until melted. Adjust seasonings. Serve.
