2½ cups flour, plus more for dusting
¾ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
2 sticks unsalted butter, room temp
½ cup honey
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat butter and sugar with mixer until light and fluffy, about 3 min. Beat in honey, egg, and vanilla. Lower mixer speed and add flour mixture until combined.

Divide into 2 disks and wrap in plastic wrap. Refridgerate until firm, 4 hours to overnight.

Preheat oven to 350º and pksition oven racks in upper and lower thirds of the oven.

Roll out dough on lightly floured surface until ¼ish inch thick. Cut out cookies and bake on cookie sheet.

Bake, switching the pans half way through, until cookies are lightly brown; approximately 10-14ish minutes. Transfer cookies to racks to cool.

Decorate with royal icing and let set until firm.
