12 oz bud beer 2 cans. 1/2 lb bacon 1/2 cup diced onion 1/2 cup finely chopped carrot 1/2 cup chopped celery 1/2 cup red bell pepper 1 12 oz can chicken broth 1/4 cup flour 1 cup half and half 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 tbsp sugar salt/pepper

Open 1 beer and take a sip, Open another and let sit. Cook bacon until crisp, then drain and crumble. In same pan with 2 tbsp bacon fat cook veggies until soft 5-7 min. Add chicken broth bring to a boil reduce heat to low. In a small bowl whisk beer and flour add to broth. Stir until thick. Add cheese bacon half and half and sugar stirring while cheese melts. Salt and pepper to taste.. Top with a piece of bacon or shreeded cheese. Drink remaining beer.
