3 eggs, slightly beaten
2/3 cup milk
3 T sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
4 T butter
loaf of Texas toast bread

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Melt butter in oven in cookie sheet. Combine eggs, sugar, milk, and vanilla and pour in cookie sheet. Layer bread and soak for 2 minutes. Turn and let soak up all liquid. Bake for 15 minutes. Turn and bake for 10 minutes more.

Serve with powdered sugar and syrup.
