6 medium potatoes, peeled
4 green onions, minced
bacon dripping
3 slices Swiss cheese
4 slices crisp bacon
3 slices American cheese or 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes covered in small amount of salted water until just tender. Cool. slice crosswise. Sauté onions in drippings. Arrange layer of potatoes in greased casserole dish, top with Swiss cheese. Add second layer of potatoes and top with crumbled bacon and onions. Add third layer of potatoes and top with cheese. Add salt and pepper to milk and pour over potatoes. Bake at 375º for 45 minutes.
