3 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup butter; softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-2 tablespoons whipping cream (or substitute)

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, mix together sugar and butter. Mix on low speed until well blended, then increase the speed and beat for another few minutes. Add the vanilla and cream and continue to beat on your previous speed for about a minute. Add more cream if needed for your desired consistency.

Note*: Substitutes for whipping cream can be used- for example evaporated milk or a combination of milk and butter (ratio differs depending on needed amount of whipping cream)
