Lemon peel/Lime peel/Orange peel

Directions:
Directions:
In an empty tin, squeeze citrus ingredients completely and place in the tin doing your best to keep the rind down. Next, add the sugar and rum to the tin before muddling all ingredients until you don't feel anymore give in the citrus. Then, fill a fresh lowball glass with ice and strain. Fill the rest of the glass with either your ginger ale or ginger beer. Either get a fresh tin or clean the one you used and roll the drink back into the fresh tin and once more into the glass to mix the drink completely. Serve.

Garnish:

Run your Lemon peel/Lime peel/Orange peel around the rim of the glass before twisting it over the drink and dropping it in

Personal Notes:
Keeping the rind down before muddling helps to keep the rind from shredding into the drink and adding unwanted flavors.
