1 lg. Bone in Ham with all packaging removed (store bought fully cooked spiral cut or raised on the farm) *
1 lg. bottle or can Pineapple Juice
1 - 2 Cups Brown Sugar
2 T Yellow Mustard
Pineapple Rings and Cherries



These amounts are based on a 10lb. Ham. Adjust amounts according to weight of Ham and your own personal tastes.

Pour half the Pineapple Juice in bottom of large roasting pan

Place Ham spiral side down

Cover VERY tightly with several sheets Aluminum Foil to totally seal it so it can't dry out.

Roast in a 300º oven for about 3 hrs

Remove from oven

Turn oven temp to400º

Prepare your Glaze, use enough ingredients to make it thick

Pour over top of Ham

Back to the oven, uncovered for about half an hour or until glaze is a bit crunchy

Remove from oven and pour off any accumulated juices or meat bit and place in a pot and heat to boiling


Make a Roux*


Mix juices in roasting pan and place in a large pot and bring to boiling

Slowing add Roux to boiling juice and liquid drippings in pot all the while stirring vigorously with a whisk

When at your desire thickness its ready

Garnish Ham with Pineapple Rings and Cherries if desired and serve
