8# hamburger (I used 9—3 (3# ea) large rolls of ground chuck)
Onions (I used one large onion per roll of ground chuck)
1 (#10) can tomato sauce
1 (#10) can kidney beans, partially drained (I used Bush’s chili beans and did not drain it)
2 (2 qt) cans tomato juice
1 c. sugar (halved it because of the flavored beans)
1 1/4 oz. chili powder (I used Penzey’s chili con carne seasoning about an oz)
1/2 (#10) can water (didn’t use this)

Brown hamburger with onions. Mix all ingredients together. Heat well in roaster.
