1 yellow onion
1 green bell pepper
2 celery ribs
3 cloves garlic
1.5 lbs ground beef
6oz tomato paste
29oz tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tb basil
1 Tb oregano
1 Tb thyme
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 Tb sugar
lasagna noodles
8oz shredded Parmesan
8oz shredded mozzarella
15oz ricotta
olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Dice onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic.

Over medium heat, sauté onion, bell pepper, and celery in olive oil until withered, not browned. Add in garlic, cook for 5 more minutes

Add ground beef, break into small pieces while cooking until brown

Mix in tomato paste until evenly distributed. Add tomato sauce, then fill the can with water and add to sauce mix

Add spices, stir, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 1 hour

Preheat oven to 350

In a deep dish, put a layer of the meat sauce, then repeat the following pattern until the pan is full: Lasagna, meat sauce, parmesan and mozzarella, ricotta.

On your last layers, leave off the ricotta and finish with parmesan and mozzarella.

Bake for 1 hour
