5 tbsp margarine
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1/4 chopped walnuts
1/2 cup granulated sugar
8 oz cream cheese
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and brown sugar.
Add flour & nut, mix well.
Set aside 1 cup for topping.
Press remainder in bottom of 8x8x2” pan. Bake 350º 12-15 minutes.
Blend sugar,& cream cheese til smooth.
Add egg, milk, lemon juice, vanilla. Beat well.
Spread over bottom crust.
Sprinkle with the reserved 1 cup topping.
Return to oven, bake 25 minutes more.
Cool then cut into diamonds (or squares). Chill.
