1 egg, well beaten
1 cup sugar
½ butter
¼ salt
1 8oz package chopped dates (I would get fresh medjool dates, pit and chop them.
2½ cups Rice Krispies
¼ cup chopped nuts
1 small package shredded coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix egg, sugar, butter, salt and dates in saucepan; cook stirring frequently until dates and soft and mixture is thick.

Place saucepan in ice water until cool enough to handle. Add Rice Krispies and nuts, shape into small balls with buttered hands, roll each ball in coconut.
