2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp dry sherry
1 tsp cornstarch
1/2 lb flank steak (cut into stripes)
2 tbsp oil
1/4 cup onion (sliced)
1 cup celery (chopped)
1 cup broccoli flowerets
1/4 cup water
1 can bamboo shoots (drained)
Optional: green pepper, mushrooms, pea pods, carrots, etc...

Directions:
Directions:
Combine soy sauce, sherry and cornstarch; pour over meat and let stand 15 minutes. In a wok or skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium heat. Add ge, stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add remaining vegetables and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add water. Cover and steam for 2 minutes. Add bamboo shoots and heat 1 minute. Remove and set aside. Drain meat , reserving the sauce. Heat remaining oil and add meat to vegetables. Stir-fry 3 to 5 minutes. Add sauce and cook constantly, until sauce thickens and mixture is heated through.
