1 large egg
on fresh flour tortilla
3 slices of Monterey jack cheese measuring 2x3 inches each
1/4 lb spicy lean pork sausage patty
1/2 c. Mexican style picante sauce and several sprigs of cilantro

Directions:
Directions:
1. put tortilla on a plate.
2. fry or boil sausage until done but not dry- put on tortilla
3. lightly fry egg on both sides until done- place on top of sausage
4. place cheese slices on top of egg, but not on top of each other
5. cover plate with non-metal cover - place in microwave, heat at high for 60 to 90 seconds or until cheese melts
6. remove from microwave - remove cover and pour picante sauce over top and garnish

All the Bade Households have their own version of wavy babies but this is the original from Jim Bade based on his letters and publishing.

In the Hazen house, we cut up the tortillas into little squares, scrambled the eggs, and crumbled the sausage and then topped with shredded colby jack in order to make it more bite sized for toddlers and we never changed it back after that.
