1/2 c milk
1/4 c butter
1/4 c sugar
1/2 t salt
2 cake yeasts
2-3 c flour
2 beaten eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Scald the milk; add the next 3 ingredients. Cool. Add the yeast, and the rest in order listed. Knead until smooth and elastic. Let rise until doubled.

Divide into 3 equal parts and shape each part into round loaves. Place on parchment lined baking sheet in the shape of a 3-petaled flower so that they fuse when baked. Let rise until doubled.

Brush with a glaze (see helpful tips in beginning of book) and bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes and then a moderate oven for 40 minutes.

Cool.

Frost with C. sugar mixed with water to spreading consistency. (optional)

Can be decorated with nuts and candied fruit in flower shapes before frosting sets. (optional)
