One 12 ounce pack of fresh cranberries
one apple quartered or 2 if desired

Cover cranberries and quartered apple( no need to pare apple or deseed with 1/2 cup or more of water in 2 quart saucepan. bring to boil and let simmer till apples are soft.
immediately transfer mixture to a food mill and strain while pressing out the pulp.
Add sugar to sauce that remains and stir well. Refrigerate oveernight.
