2 medium onions
1 clove garlic
1 green pepper,chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. ground pork
1 #21/2 can tomatoes
1t. chili powder
1 large can olives
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 lb. grated yellow cheese
salt and pepper
3 T. corn meal

4 quart casserole

Line large casserole (9 X13) with corn meal mush (1 c. dry corn meal in 4 c. water.,,.or 1 1/3 cornmeal to 5 1/4 H2O.... boil till very thick...allow to cool slightly.

Cook chopped onion and minced garlic in oil....add green pepper and ground meats:cook till brown.
Add tomatoes-olives,raisins and seasonings except chili. When mix. boils, add the 3 T. cornmeal and chili and grated cheese. (I prefere to use all of cheese to top).
Cook: until thick and pour in baking dish...
sprinkle with cheese and bake 45 minutes. at 350

Note*
Can cook cornmenal in tomatoe juice or soup and add some garlic salt.(I never did that)
*Grease casserole before lining.
