1 lb sweet Italian sausage (bulk), browned and broken up
˝ cup bacon fried and crumbled.
1 lb or so of baby reds, diced, unpeeled.
1 onion chopped
5 or 6 large garlic cloves minced
1-2 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
1 quart homemade fortified chicken stock
Black pepper to taste
1 cup kale or mixed greens with Kale, collards, chard, etc.
1.5 cups heavy cream
1 8-oz package of cream cheese, cubed.

Directions:
Saute onion and garlic in a little olive oil.
Add chicken stock and potatoes—cook until potatoes are tender but still firm.
Add Kale, bacon and Italian sausage, return to a simmer, and give the kale enough time to soften up a bit.

Add the heavy cream and cream cheese, stir until smooth.
