Directions:
Rinse canned potatoes and let drain

If roasting alone, use small metal pan and add 1/4 c. of butter or margarine to pan.

Put pan in preheated 350º oven until butter melts.

Remove pan and put potatoes in melted butter. Roll them around to coat them well and evenly. Sprinkle with paprika.

Roast until golden brown, crispy on outside.

If using these potatoes to roast with meat (roast beef, pork roast), you can melt butter in large sauce pan then add drained potatoes. Once they are coated, place them around the edge of the roast and roast together.

Personal Notes:
We are all more used to using fresh vegetables today, but there was a time they weren't readily available or as affordable. These potatoes are easy, inexpensive, and tasty.

Paprika isn't absolutely necessary. It gives the potatoes a bit of zing, but if not handy or simply not wanted , you can always just use a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
