2 sticks butter
1/2 cup shortening
1/4 tsp salt
3 cups granulated sugar
5 large eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 small can (6 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 oz water
2 tsp flavoring (vanilla, almond, lemon, etc..)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, shortening, sugar and salt. Add eggs one at a time; beating well after each addition. Add flour, baking powder and milk alternately, ending with flour. Fold in flavoring. Bake in a greased tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
