1 cup butter

1 1/4 cup sugar

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

3 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs then vanilla.

Combine flour, salt, and baking powder. Add to butter mixture.

Roll into a log using plastic wrap and chill until solid.

Slice into 30 cookies and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Chill for about 30 minutes before stamping.

Chill for 10 minutes before baking at 375F for about 7 minutes or until edges begin to brown.

Variations:

Almond - replace vanilla with almond extract

Lemon- replace vanilla with lemon extract
Tea- add ground tea to dough (black, earl grey, green tea)

Chocolate- replace part of flour with cocoa powder add mini chocolate chips

Peanut butter- replace half the butter with peanut butter (may need to add 1-2tbsp milk)
