Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 - 8 ounce cream cheese
5 ounce can unsweetened evaporated milk
1 t vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
2 eggs
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Grease 13 x 9 pan
Combine cream cheese, chocolate chips and milk in sauce pan and cook until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 vanilla. Set aside.
Stir together flour, sugar, butter, eggs, baking powder, salt and 1/2 vanilla. Mix until combined. Press 1/2 of dough into the pan. Spread the chocolate mixture on top and cover with over 1/2 of dough. I usually flattened smaller pieces of the dough in the palms of my hands and puzzle together into the pan. It won't cover completely, but get as close as you can.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. The top should be golden brown. Cool.

I received this recipe from Kathy Quillen. Cut into small squares - they are really rich and delicious!
