1/4 lb butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs (beaten)
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. of oil
2 pkgs dry yeast
dash salt
7 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, & sugar real well, and add beaten eggs. Then in a small pan heat milk, oil and salt to warm , add heated mixture creamed butter and sugar .
In small bowl mix yeast with 1 teaspoon sugar and 1/4 warm water and let rise until double in bulk. then add to butter mixture and add 3 cups of flour mix well , then add 2 more cups of flour and mix, add last 2 cups of flour and knead. Place dough in large oiled bowl and let rise until double in size. Punch down, divide into 2 parts , then divide each part into 3 rolls and braid. Brush with egg. Set on greased cookie sheet and let rise about an hour.
Bake 20 minutes in 350 oven. Makes 2 loaves.
