1 cup sugar
1½ sticks butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
⅛ tsp salt
2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Divide mixture in half. Make each half into a log roll. Wrap in wax paper and chill. Slice and bake in 350º oven for 12 minutes or until brown. Can also be rolled out and cut with cookie cutters.
