2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup white corn syrup
1 tsp vinegar
1 cup water
1 tsp flavoring (what ever flavor you desire)
2 egg whites (beaten stiff)
1/2 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first five ingredients in a large saucepan; boil to hard ball stage (when small amount is dropped in cold water will form s ball.) Set aside to cool. When cool pour in thin stream over stiff egg whites, beating until thoroughly blended. Set aside. Combine 1/2 cup water and 1 cup sugar in a saucepan; Boil until it spins a thread. Pour in thin stream, beating constantly, over first cooled mixture. Beat until stiff, about 20 minutes. Mixture should be light and smooth. Drop by spoon on wax paper. Let cool.
