Ingredients: 2 Sticks Butter 3 Cups Sugar 6 Eggs 3 Cups Flour 1/4 tsp Baking Powder 1/2 Pint Whipping Cream 1tsp Whatever Flavoring Extract you want. Or none Crisco

Directions:Beat eggs and sugar until well mixed Add eggs one at a time while still mixing Sift flour on baking powder together While the mixer is still going going, alternately add flour and whipping cream in batches of 4 Add flavoring Beat on high for 8 minutes Coat bunt pan with a mixture of flour and crisco Pour batter in pan. Bang the pan down on the floor to settle the batter Put in the center of a cold oven then turn to 325º and bake for 80 minutes. Do not open the door while baking Kathy Ready when golden brown and toothpick comes out clean Grannies Fannie note: Fo good luck, do not throw the eggshells away until it is done |
