2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 jar maraschino cherries
2 1/2 cups cornflakes (crushed)
1 cup chopped Pecans (optional)
1 cup chopped dates (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix together the butter and sugar; add eggs and milk. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Once its all mixed together, form dough into 2 inch balls. Then roll in cornflakes. Put on cookie sheets. Place a cherry on top of each cookie. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool.
