Sour Cream Raisin Bars Recipe

2 C. Raisins
1 C. Water
1 C. Oleo
1 C. Brown sugar
1 C. Oatmeal
1 C. Flour
1 tsp soda
1 C. Sugar
Little salt
3 TBSP cornstarch
3 egg yolks
1 C. Sour cream
1 tsp vanilla

Place raisins and enough water to cover in a pan. Cook until raisins are soft (about 5 minutes). Drain, set aside. Then cream oleo, brown sugar, oatmeal, flour, and baking soda. Mix like pie crust. Put half of mixture in a pan 9x13 or cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 350.

Blend together sugar, salt, cornstarch, egg yolks, and sour cream. Cook over low heat stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Remove from heat and add vanilla and cooked raisins. Pour over baked crust and sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.

Bake 30 minutes.
