1 C. Shortening
1 C. Seedless raisins, cooked
2 C. Quick oatmeal
10 TBSP raisin juice
1 tsp soda in raisin juice
1 C. Sugar
2 eggs
2 C. Flour
½ C. Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, eggs. Put raisins in pan in a little water and let cook. Drain liquid off raisins and save 10 TBSP water. Add 1 tsp soda to liquid and add to creamed mixture alternately with dry ingredients (flour & oatmeal). Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased, floured cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 15 minutes.
