Ingredients:  
Chuck roast - lots of marbling and a nice fat layer around the edges
2 med onion
Garlic - at least 3 or 4 cloves, smashed with your knife
Carrots, potatoes, any root veggies
Oil - I use olive oil but veggie is fine

Beef broth - 2 containers should cover the roast

Heat your slow cooker
An instant pot will work as well

In a skillet, over high heat, brown the roast on all sides in the oil
Transfer to the crock pot, top with veggies, cover with broth

set the heat at high and the time for 6 hours

It will be fall apart tender

For instant pot, follow the manufacturers recommendations
