Ingredients:  
1 C. shortening (or shortening butter)
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 C. flour
2 C. quick cook oatmeal
1 C. nuts or peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine shortening, eggs, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and vanilla and beat together until smooth.
2. Add in flour, oatmeal, and nuts.
3. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.
