1 lb round steak or sirloin steak. basically an inexpensive cut of beef
2 tbls butter
sprinkle of flour
Salt & Pepper
1 yellow onion
1 PKG Egg Noodles
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
Cut round steak into 2 x 1/2" strips and brown in butter. Sprinkle with flour and cook until steak develops a brown coating. Add Salt and Pepper.
Slice onions about 1/4 inch and add to browned meat. Saute until golden brown. Add 1/4 cup water, beef buillion and cover, cooking on low heat for 20 minutes.
Cook egg noodles until all dente and drain.
Add sour cream to meat liquid, stir, increase the heat but make sure to not overcook and reach a boil, otherwise the cream will curdle.
Cover and cook on low heat
