1 1/2 cups water
1 cup raisin
(Save liquid)

1/2 cups shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup raisin liquid
Directions:
Directions:
Boil water and raisins for 15 minutes, cool
Cream 1/2 cup shortening, 1 cup brown sugar
Add 1 beaten egg,1 1/2 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla, raisins with
1/2 cup of raisin liquid
Mix, put in greased pan.
Bake at 350º

Boil 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup milk, cool
Add icing sugar, mix well
