3/4 C. butter
1-1/2 C. sugar
4 bananas mashed ( ripe or overripe)
2 eggs Can add nuts if desired.
1 t. vanilla
2 C. flour
1 t. baking soda
3/4 t. salt
1/2 C. buttermilk ( I just add 1 t.. + of vinegar to my milk)

Cream butter and sugar. Add bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in the rest. Pour into greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 mins. Let bread cool in pan for 10 mins. Loosen around bread with knife and turn it on a cooling rack.
