Pineapple Upside Down Cake Recipe

1 Yellow cake mix
½ stick of butter
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 can pineapple slices

Preheat oven to 350º.

Melt butter in a 10" oven safe skillet. Remove from heat and sprinkle brown sugar on top of the butter. Arrange pineapple slices on top of the brown sugar - you probably won't use them all. Prepare cake according to package directions and pour on top of pineapple. Bake 30 minutes or until the cake is set. Remove from the oven and immediately turn out onto a platter. Allow to cool a bit before serving, Serve with vanilla ice cream or cool whip.
