"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

In a large frying pan, sautee onions with the italian susage, set aside when cooked fully.

In a large pot, add the diced potatoes, 3 cups of water, and the bouillon cube. Set to boil. When potatoes are soft and the soup is at a rolling boil, lower heat to medium. Add the sausage and onions, and heavy whipping cream. Stir until ingredients are mixed. Pour in cheese, one handful at a time, and stir all the while so the cheese does not stick to the bottom. When cheese is throughrily mixed, serve while hot.
