1 lb. ground beef or thin sliced steak 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. soy sauce 1 Tbsp. sesame oil 3 cloves minced garlic 1/2 tsp. fresh ginger (1/4 tsp. powdered) 1/2 tsp. crushed red peppers salt & pepper optional- carrots, broccoli, snow peas, celery, bell pepper etc.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown meat with garlic and sesame oil. drain fat and add brown sugar, soy sauce, and rest of ingredients. Simmer for a few minutes to blend flavors and serve over steamed rice and garnish with green onions.
