Dough
3/4 Cup margarine
2 1/2 Cups flour
1/3 to 1/2 Cup water
1 1/2 Cups small curd cottage cheese

Filling
1 Pound ground beef
1/2 Tsp chili powder
1/2 Tsp red pepper
1/4 Tsp black pepper
1 Tsp garlic salt
1 Small onion

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare dough. Cut margarine into flour and mix with water and cottage cheese. Chill in refrigerator. Brown ground beef, chili powder, red pepper, black pepper, garlic salt, salt and onion. Drain and cool. Roll out dough on a floured surface. Use a circle cutter, such as a large grass or small bowl, to cut out empanadas. Put about a spoon full of filling into the middle of the circle. Fold over and pinch dough together to form a seal. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
