1 - 3 oz package Jello, mixed fruit, strawberry, lemon or pineapple-grapefruit gelatin
Dash salt
1 cup boiling water
1 can (8 oz.) pineapple tidbits
cup lemon juice
⅓ cup mayonnaise
1 cup whipping cream
1 medium banana, diced
cup grapes, halved
cup diced maraschino cherries
cup chopped nuts

*other fruits that may be used are drained diced orange sections, drained crushed pineapple, drained fruit cocktail, using a total of 2 cups of fruit.

Dissolve jello and salt in boiling water.
Drain pineapple, measuring syrup, add water to make cup.
Stir into gelatin with lemon juice.
Blend in mayonnaise.
Chill until very thick.
Whip cream. Fold fruit, nuts and whipped cream into gelatin. Pour into 2 freezing trays or a 9x5x3 loaf pan.
Freeze until firm, at least 3-4 hours.
