2 lbs dates 1 lb red canned cherries Ĺ lb green canned cherries 4 slices canned pineapple 1 lb walnuts (pecans are better) 1 lb Brazil nuts 4 large eggs 1Ĺ C. Flour (sifted) Ĺ C. Sugar 1 tsp baking powder
Beat egg yolks, add sugar & beat well. Then add flour, baking powder, and a little salt. Last, add beaten egg whites. Mix a little flour over the fruit and put in dough and mix well. Bake 1Ĺ hours in loaf bread pans at 250ļ degrees. Makes 2 large loaves or 3 small.
