⅓ cup brown sugar
teaspoon cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons butter
1 cups cake flour

1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla
⅓ cup buttermilk


Directions:

Mix sugars, cinnamon, salt, and butter. Add flour and mix well. Set aside.
Preheat oven 325 Grease 8x8 inch pan use parchment paper for easier removing of cake. On low speed with electric mixer mix dry ingredients adding butter one piece at a time; continue beating until there are no butter chunks. Add egg yolk, butter milk, and vanilla. Beat on medium high speed until light and fluffy. Spread topping on cake breaking into pea sized pieces, starting on the edges going into towards the center. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
