2 cup sugar 1 1/4 c. veg. oil
2 cup flour 3 eggs
1 tsp. soda 1 can sliced beets (drain and mash)
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup cocoa


Icing :

1stick of margarine
4 Tbs. cocoa
6 Tbs. milk

Directions:
Mix all ingredients well. Prepare a 9 x 12 baking pan you can use non stick spray
Bake at 350º for about 45 minutes or until your toothpick comes out clean from the center of cake. Frost while HOT

Icing:
1stick of margarine
4 Tbs. cocoa
6 Tbs. milk
Bring to a boil add
1 1lb. box or bag of powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Beat until creamy
optional 1/2 cup Nuts
spread on cake while HOT
