3 lb. beef stew meat
¼ cup oil
1½ cups chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
3 cloves minced garlic
2 28-oz cans diced tomatoes, undrained
2 cups water
5 oz tomato paste
8 tsp beef bouillon or 8 beef bouillon cubes
2 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp cuin
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp sugar

Directions:
In a Dutch oven brown meat in oil. Remove meat and add onion, green pepper and garlic. Saute until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1½ hours or until meat is tender.
