2 eggs
8 oz package of elbow macaroni, cooked according to directions
1 large can evaporated milk
1 ½ cups “sweet” milk (which means whole milk)
1 t. salt
1 t. pepper
¼ to ½ cup butter (Mom said ½ cup was too much, but it depends how rich you want it to be)
2- 10 oz packages of Cracker Barrel cheese, grate 8 oz. from each package, cube the remaining

Mix all ingredients, except the cubed 4oz of cheese. Place in a crock pot that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cook on low for three hours. Place cubed cheese on top after 1 ½ hours of cook time has elapsed.

This has always been a favorite of my child, Sally, and Bud’s kids, Bailey, Charlotte and Taylor, even as they got older. I hope they will make this for their kids one day!
