2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup butter, softened
1 cups flour, all-purpose
½ t. salt
Dash of cayenne pepper
2 cups crisp rice cereal
Pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cheese and butter, mixing well. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Add to cheese and butter mixture. Mix well. Stir in cereal. Chill for two hours.
Shape dough into one inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten to 1/3 inch thickness. Top each with a pecan half.

Bake at 350 degrees for eight minutes.
