1 pkg regular acting yeast
1/4 c warm water
1/4 c molasses
1/4 c margarine
2 tsp salt
1/4 c packed brown sugar
2-1/2 c rolled oats
1 c boiling water
f1 c cold water
4-1/2 - 5 c flour
3 tbsp milk (brush on the loaves to help them brown)

Directions:
Combine yeast, warm water and tbsp of molasses. Let stand about 15 minutes (until bubbling)
Combine margarine, 2 tbsp molasses, salt, sugar, oats and boiling water. Mix until margarine is melted. Add cold water and yeast combo. Beat in flour 1 cup at a time. Knead about 15-20 minutes until smooth. (best done by hand-I would use a mixer)

Let rise in a warm place. Punch down and knead for 5 minutes. Let rise and bake at 350º for about an hour.
