2-1/2 c shredded lettuce
1 15 oz c black beans, rinsed and drained
1-2 tbsp snipped fresh cilantro
1/2 c chopped red onion
1/2 c chopped green pepper
1/2 c chopped red pepper
2-4 tbsp chopped fresh or canned gr chilies
3/4 c sour cream
1 tbsp lime juice
1 clove garlic
1/3 tsp salt
3/4 c chopped tomato
1 small avacado, peeled, seeded and chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Place 1-1/2 c lettuce in a 2 quart bowl. Layer black beans, cilantro, onion, green pepper, red pepper, and green chilies. Top with remaining lettuce.

For dressing, stir together sour cream, lime juice, garlic, and salt. Spread dressing over top of salad, sealing to the edge of the bowl. Cover and chill for 2 to 24 hrs.

Before serving, sprinkle chopped tomato and chopped avocado over salad. Toss to coat the vegetables.
