Frosted Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

2 c shortening
2 c brown sugar
2 c white sugar
4 eggs
2 t vanilla
1 t salt
3 c flour
2 t baking soda
6 c oatmeal

1/2 c butter
1 1/2 t cinnamon
3 c powdered sugar
3 T prepared coffee
3 t vanilla

Cream shortening, sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, salt, and soda and add to first mixture. Fold in oatmeal. Shape in rolls and chill overnite. Slice and bake at 375 10 minutes. Do not grease pan.

Beat frosting ingredients together and spread on cooled cookies.
