1 c flour
½ tsp salt
1/3 c shortening
3 tbsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour and salt. With a spatula cut in shortening till pieces are the size of small peas. Sprinkle cold water over dough and mix in with hands until the mixture holds together. Form into a ball. On a lightly floured surface flatten dough with hands. Roll dough from center to edge, forming a circle about an inch bigger than your pie pan. Wrap pastry around rolling pin. Unroll onto the pie pan. Ease dough into pan, being careful not to stretch the dough too much. Trim the dough, with a knife, to about ½ inch beyond edge of pie pan; fold under extra dough.
Flute edge. Prick bottom and sides with a fork. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. Cool.
